Of course, all our grooming is by appointment only so we would ensure we had sufficient time.
What does weight check mean?
To assist our clients we have vet type scales and record your dog's weight on
personal client care cards so when he comes in again you have a comparison
Are collections charged for?
In Radcliffe no its free but in other areas there is a small charge
Are all dogs get bathed in the same shampoo?
No, we have a range of shampoos and conditioners and use the most appropriate for your pet, please note all our shampoos and conditioners are specially formulated for dogs
Do you store dogs in crates?
Yes, this is best practice as recommended by 'The British Grooming Association'.
Most dogs tend to feel very safe and secure when in this type of environment and for their comfort all crates have sumptuous vet bed bedding and a toy.
If I drop my dog off with you early morning to pick up at tea time what does his day consist off?
Your dog will take his/her turn for bathing and grooming and this can occupy anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending upon condition and breed. He will use our exercise area in the morning and the afternoon and of course fresh water and tasty treat will be available to him all day.
Will my dog be mixing directly with other dogs?
No, he will obviously be in the vicinity of other dogs but when dogs are out in the exercise area they are taken out individually unless of course more than one dog from the same home is booked in then they will be let out together
What information is put on Client Cards?
We hope simple concise information such as weight, date of groom, if flea or worming treatment was given and also a groomer's comments which may say nothing or may say we have noticed a particular condition.
How often should my dog be groomed?
For some breeds it is recommended every 6 weeks, some every 8, others every 10 but no one knows your dog like you and you notice if he is ready for a bath or a trim. We of course recommend regular grooming to help keep you dog in top condition
